Capital equipment is used for 10 – 12 years and customer comments are therefore useful for potential customers to make their decisions.

However, these are several other “comments” that are not directly visible e.g.

Repeat Customers – This is perhaps the best performance certificate anyone can issue or receive because it speaks about the product, manufacturer and the local dealer. We have more than 40 repeat customers including about 25 private companies.

Citation Index – is extremely useful to evaluate the actual use and output of the equipments sold. We are proud to state that during the Indian Pharma Congress 2007. 44 papers were published using HPTLC out of which 41 used Camag HPTLC and remaining 3, simple TLC.

Roburtness Index – is judged in a lab with all kinds of equipment. Camag HPTLC, almost universally, is found to have the least no of breakdowns and therefore, maintenance costs.

List of users – gives a fairly good idea although one must make a distinction between List of “buyers” vs List of “users”!
