In the developing countries, CSR is especially significant.

Anchrom has gone to went to extra – ordinary lengths initially to support the customers with an application lab from 1989.

We then used this lab to fulfill our CSR in several ways, as our small contribution to the building of India.

Research Scholars Scheme : - Traditionally trainees are made to pay for hands on training. But from 1994, Anchrom started a R.S. Scheme that paid stipend to fresh post- graduates, gave them hands on training in HPTLC, personal interactions, method development, trouble shooting etc. After 3 – 6 months, such R.S were absorbed by the industry. Careers of 165 R.S. have been launched by us.

Educational Institutes Support Scheme : - Here too, since 1994, we offered free training and analysis to any research student or research guide in India. More than 2500 students and teachers have benefited from this scheme. More than 10,000 samples analysed, entirely at Anchrom’s cost.

Govt. labs Interaction : - Similar to educational institutes, we offer free training and analysis to Govt. labs. At least 400 Govt. employees have been trained by us, at our cost.

Ph.D. Scholars Scheme: - In 2006, we have started a Ph.D. sponsorship scheme. These scholars work full time in our lab and part time for their Ph.D. We pay a considerable stipend for 3 years plus pick-up the expenses Ph.D. made in our lab.
